Think Pink!

Hello!

So after the busiest weekend ever I have finally managed to upload my cute little pink outfit! I have never really been one for wearing a lot of pink until this year, now I suddenly love it! 

I first purchased the little pink gingham leggings from Topshop after discovering them online! I then took a little shopping trip last week and found the pink pumps in the sale in Debenhams! I was hoping that I would be able to wear the two together and luckily enough they look perfect together! 

I didn't want to take it to extremes and buy a pink top so I brought a little white Pom Pom top from Topshop - loving pom poms at the moment they are everywhere! I also added accessories to glam it up a bit! The sunglasses are my ultimate faves and were only from Primark, although I'm not sure they sell them anymore! ASOS have some identical ones though! The hat was also from Primark and I brought that recently! The necklace is a little £5 bargain from Select!

Little Mistress!

I discovered this little lace number last week and couldn't resist buying it!

It is such a classy dress, yet summery at the same time; that's why I love it! I decided to pair it up with some gorgeous Next heels, which by the way, are so comfortable!

This one is called the 'Embellished Lace Shift Dress' and is available in sizes 6-18! I purchased mine from Little Mistress direct but their items are also available on ASOS, Next and House of Fraser. It was £55 so a little treat to myself, but it was so worth it! It is such good quality and Little Mistress are rapidly developing a fan following! They offer looks straight from the catwalk at a fraction of the price!

My Top 5 Beauty Tips!

I decided to create my top 5 beauty tips - especially as summer is just around the corner and we all want to look our best!

1. ALWAYS take your makeup off before bed!
- As all of my friends know I am obsessed with taking my make up off before bed! I have suffered in the past with acne and try everything I can to look after my skin after learning the hard way! My skin regime before bed is a three-step process: Cleanse, Tone and Moisturise.
I am currently using Clinique products at the moment, I decided to invest in some because they seemed to be the only products that worked well with my skin. Also, unlike many brands, Clinique offer a money back guarantee if you find that a specific product doesn't suit your skin.

2. Use a primer before applying makeup!
- Before applying makeup I always use a primer, they are the secret to long-lasting makeup! There are such a wide variety out there at all different prices! I find that they hide my blemishes so well and give my skin a smooth feel.

3. Sleep in socks filled with moisturiser for lovely, soft feet!
- It sounds silly but it honestly works! Perfect for pre-holiday pampering!

4. Drink 2 litres of water a day!
- I find it so difficult to remember to drink 2 litres of water daily but once you get into a routine it is so simple! The difference in just two weeks is incredible; skin is smoother, energy levels are higher and you feel ten times better about yourself!

5. Wash make up brushes frequently!
- Okay, it probably sounds like common sense but so many people (including me) forget to frequently clean foundation brushes! You will be surprised at just how dirty your brushes can get after a few days using it,  lots of brands sell brush cleansing products, but if you're on a budget warm, soapy water will do the trick!

Sunshine & shorts!

I'm not sure about you guys but I have been loving the sunshine this weekend! More so because I work everyday now so do not have time to enjoy it!

So.. Here is my perfect summers outfit! 

This outfit works so well because it can combine a day look with an evening look. Perfect for sitting in a sunny pub garden with a glass of fizz! 

I would also like to say a huge thank you to Glamour Rags Boutique for my lovely gift! My necklace will be adding a touch of glamour to many future outfits! Girls, they have such a variety of gorgeous clothing - you will not be disappointed!

Glamour Rags Co-Ord!

Okay, so this beauty arrived yesterday from Glamour Rags boutique and I have absolutely fallen in love with it! I strongly recommend you check them out for all of your fashion needs!

This two-piece is called the 'Amara' and is one of their many co-ords! Mine is a size medium and it fits perfectly! The material is stretchy to an extent which makes it very comfortable! I decided to pair mine with some simple suede Guess heels! For a little bit of coverage I added the black H&M kimono.

The Visor!

Hello, so I thought I would do a quick blog post on visors!

They are absolutely everywhere at the moment with such a variety of colours on offer! My visor is from H&M and was only £7.99! 

Admittedly, it felt a bit strange at first but I soon got used to it! The great thing about them is that they are so easy to position; the velcro back allows easy fastening, preventing the hair from getting caught up. They are absolutely essential for a summers holiday- the perfect accessory!!

I decided to keep my outfit quite simple yet summery! I paired it up with a simple cami and some black silky shorts, both from H&M! My shoes are from river island and they are my summer faves!

The 'Must Have'!

This weeks' Topshop must have is this simple black crop! 

I love it because it can be worn with any colour and it is quite simple! I paired it up with a Topshop kimono and white jeans for a casual look! I also had a bit of a bargain with this- thanks to Grazia Magazine I had a £5 off voucher! I also had another gift card so it didn't actually cost me anything-perfect!

My first day as an intern!

Today was my first day as a publicity intern with The Walt Disney Company! Words cannot describe how nervous I was this morning, it was made even worse when my first train got cancelled!

Upon arrival I realised that there was absolutely nothing to be nervous about - everyone was lovely! There is a huge amount to take in but the job role is very interesting and I cannot wait to get stuck in! 

There are so many amazing Disney films coming out in the next year and I feel privileged to be able to work on them! 

I decided to wear a simple H&M blazer today, mainly because I was so unsure of the dress code! 

I also compiled some first day essentials! Typical of a PR girl!

Slogan Tees!

As most of you are aware slogan tees are everywhere at the moment! I have three favourites in particular...

The '#ootd' tee is from Lauren Popes' range by 'In The Style' now in the sale for £9.99! The other two are from Zara and were both £9.99! 

Whilst on the topic of slogan tees I would like to mention Nick Ede and his 'Style for Stroke' campaign in collaboration with Boohoo. A number of celebrities have taken part creating 'famous last words' limited edition slogan tees. Priced at just £12.00, profits from each sale will go towards the stroke association! What a great way to be bang on trend whilst raising awareness for such a great cause!
